Hajdu Klárát a hazai jazzközönség jól ismeri, hiszen 2004-től majdnem egy évtizeden át volt női énekese az ország egyik legnépszerűbb jazz-zenekarának, a Balázs Elemér Groupnak. Ezzel a formációval két aranylemezt, illetve Fonogram-díjat tudhat magáénak, valamint teltházas koncerteket itthon, Európa, az Egyesült Államok és Kanada több nagyvárosában.
Saját együttesét, a Hajdu Klára Quartetet 10 éve alapította, mely megújult felállásban 2013-ban jelentette meg első albumát "Come with me" címmel, rajta saját szerzeményeik mellett kortárs jazz darabok, örökzöldek és népdalok feldolgozásaival. A quartet zongoristája újabban hangszerének elismert mestere, a Modern Art Orchestra kulcsemebere, Cseke Gábor.
A Hajdu Klára Quartet 2015 decemberében mutatta be telt ház előtt "Plays Standards Dedicated to Chet Baker" című lemezét, amellyel a legendás jazztrombitás emlékének adóznak. A korongon Chet Baker kompozícióit, és az általa híressé lett jazz-örökzöldeket dolgozták fel saját stílusukban a nagyszerű hazai trombitás, Fekete-Kovács Kornél közreműködésével.
A szakma "Az év hazai jazz albuma" kategóriában Fonogram-díjra jelölte az albumot 2017 elején. Klári idén szeptemberben frenetikus sikert aratt London egyik legrangosabb jazz klubjában, a 606-ban a Gabriel Latchin Trio kíséretében.

SONGSTRESS KLÁRA HAJDU gifted with a beautiful voice is one of the most popular jazz singers in Hungary. She has beautiful phrasing and is a tasteful improviser. Klára first made a splash in 2001 when in the talent seeking contest jointly organized by Sony Music and Bravo she came third in the solo vocalist category. She went on to be the singer for a decade of one of the most popular band’s in the country, the Elemér Balázs Group. They won two gold discs as well as the Fonogram Award. and successfully toured in Europe and the US. She formed her own quartet ten years ago. Their album dedicated to Chet Baker was nominated for Album of The Year and also for the Fonogram Award in 2017. She has worked with everyone who is anyone on the Hungarian scene, as well as with Tim Ries, Nuria Rial and Stephane Belmondo. She is also a teacher at the Budapest faculty of the world famous Vienna Konservatorium. In September this year she totally brought the house down in London's legendary 606 Club accompanied by the Gabriel Latchin Trio. This time the quartet's line-up is as follows
